Akkodis is seeking a QA Lead for a Contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN, Irving, TX, and Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate brings QA experience with strong automation, DevOps, and Agile leadership capabilities, including proven experience mentoring offshore teams.

Responsibilities

Lead onshore QA teams by defining test strategies, establishing best practices, and driving continuous improvements across QA processes
Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Cucumber, Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JMeter, Postman, and integrate automated suites into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate daily with offshore QA teams, ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication of priorities, and consistent delivery quality
Oversee documentation including test plans, test cases, execution logs, and defect reports, while providing regular QA updates and key metrics tracking
Perform hands‑on testing across digital apps, APIs, E2E flows, databases, and performance scenarios, including troubleshooting and defect analysis

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role managing both onshore and offshore teams
Strong hands‑on proficiency in Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python, API testing, SQL queries, and automation framework development
Experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to mentor teams and drive delivery excellence
