Mid LevelNon Profit Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to assist account managers with the bookkeeping and accounting needs of their clients. The role involves performing daily accounting tasks for outsourced clients with support from NPCM staff.

Responsibilities
Record cash receipts and disbursements in general ledger
Record credit card purchases and work with staff on persevering proper back-up for transactions
Maintain schedules for liabilities and assets with guidance from other NPCM staff
Assist in the preparation of supporting documents for the annual audit
Enter the payroll journal entries into the accounting software using the documentation provided
Qualification
Required
Experience working in QuickBooks, Xero, or other general ledger software
General understanding of bookkeeping and processes used in non-profit organizations
Ability to communicate with clients or vendors as needed
Ability to work independently and problem solve with general supervision
You must be located within the Eastern or Central Time Zones to be considered for this role
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
