Responsibilities

Attain and exceed sales objectives by leading and directing the sales team while managing the financial budget for the district
Cultivate customer relationship in order to increase our customer value proposition
Develop talent through targeted recruitment, continuous coaching and development and active retention
Build and maintain a high-level performance climate allowing people and ideas to excel, while maintaining high levels of accountability
Ensure internal and external process discipline to track sales, product demand and market dynamics, as well as disciplined account planning and account team execution through territory and account plans
Aid and input into the development of marketing strategies
Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of reporting metrics and business reports to ensure the placement and utilization of resources for maximum business results
Development of a business plan for utilization of all the provided resources to accomplish the planned objectives of the District

Required

Bachelor's degree
6+ years Extensive Knowledge of Animal Health, Swine, and Strategic Account Management
8+ Proven record of sales and/or people management
Passion for agricultural and the swine industry
Familiarity and/or experience in marketing processes
Excellent communication (written and oral) and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Elanco does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position
