Brand Marketing Summer (STAR) Intern

Mercedes-Benz USA is responsible for the sales, marketing and service of all Mercedes-Benz and Maybach products in the United States. The Brand Marketing Intern will support the Brand Marketing team in delivering innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns across various channels and contribute to the planning and execution of new model launches and sales campaigns.

Responsibilities

Campaign support: Assist with planning, trafficking, and QA for integrated campaigns (social, digital, video, OLV, and select traditional)
Help manage timelines, status docs, and asset trackers to keep campaigns on schedule
Social media: Review copy, build content calendars, route assets for approvals, and support growth of MBUSA accounts
Content production: Coordinate deliverables for photo/video shoots and short form content; support versioning for various platforms
Measurement & insights: Analyze campaign performance, help build reports, and summarize learnings to inform optimization and creative iteration
Market & competitor scanning: Monitor competitive activity, cultural trends, and platform shifts; compile POVs to inform messaging, targeting, and creative
Cross functional collaboration: Partner with Media, Retail Marketing (Tier 3), Corporate Communications, and Legal to ensure alignment on messaging, measurement, and governance
Agency/vendor coordination: Help route briefs and feedback to external agencies

Required

Must be a rising junior or rising senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program
Strong written storytelling and concise presentation skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) and emerging formats
Organized, detail oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
