Responsibilities

Independently works to develop product forecasts, create inventory strategies and resolve supply-demand issues for assigned products
Leads cross-functional supply chain teams to solve excess inventory and supply shortage problems impacting revenue, customer delivery and margin
Drives forecast accuracy improvement
Assesses forward-looking supply chain revenue capability for senior leadership
When necessary, develops and coordinates supply allocations for internal and supplier teams to optimize supply chain performance
Presents business results and planning recommendations to cross-functional teams in sales, finance and business units
May be assigned to assist in the design, development and evaluation of new planning processes and systems
Provides direction, specialist knowledge and training to junior planners for their activities
Assists senior planners and management teams in their activities on an ad-hoc basis
Builds constructive stakeholder relationships which involve direct interaction and influence with different Oracle lines-of-business and Oracle suppliers

Required

3 to 5+ years of experience in supply-demand planning or related field
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Experience in developing product forecasts
Experience in creating inventory strategies
Ability to resolve supply-demand issues impacting revenue, customer delivery, and margin
Experience leading cross-functional supply chain teams
Ability to drive forecast accuracy improvement
Experience assessing forward-looking supply chain revenue capability
Ability to develop and coordinate supply allocations for internal and supplier teams
Experience presenting business results and planning recommendations to cross-functional teams
Ability to assist in the design, development, and evaluation of new planning processes and systems
Experience providing direction, specialist knowledge, and training to junior planners
Ability to build constructive stakeholder relationships with different Oracle lines-of-business and suppliers

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
