They are currently seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to perform routine inspections, operate heavy equipment, and ensure safety during cleanup activities.

Responsibilities
Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear
Operate routinely used hand tools and equipment
Perform general construction labor including site preparation, material handling, demolition support, and cleanup
Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers
Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required
Qualification
Required
3+ years demonstrated ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers
Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions
Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights
Environmental and hazardous waste experience including certification per OSHA 1910.120 (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER) (Company willing to help obtain)
