Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and guidance on first-party property coverage issues
Manage and litigate first-party property claims and disputes
Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage rights and obligations
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration
Stay updated on relevant laws and industry trends affecting insurance coverage
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in NC
2+ years of experience in insurance law, specifically in first-party property coverage
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
