Department Secretary PRN
HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. They are seeking a Department Secretary to perform clerical functions, maintain department statistics, and assist staff and physicians, while also serving as a receptionist for patients and visitors.

Responsibilities
Perform clerical functions including typing, filing, scheduling, answering the telephone and maintain department statistics
TAT maintenance and auditing of STAT call reports
Assisting staff and physicians when available
Maintain the department’s physical appearance and ordering supplies
Secretary’s serves as a receptionist greeting patients and visitors
Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the area supervisor
Qualification
Required
Education: High school diploma preferred
Previous clerical/hospital experience preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
Good people skills
Needs good organization and time-management skills
Ability to type, file, and use a personal computer
Performs in accordance with delineated job responsibilities and satisfactorily completes a yearly evaluation based on these responsibilities
Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient/internal and external customer

Previous clerical/hospital experience preferred
