JDE Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities
Understand business processes and their related IT requirements, specifically as they relate to the HRIS and Payroll systems
Drive the definition, optimization and improvement of new and existing business processes via development of business and functional requirements
Manage process compliance as appropriate (e.g. internal controls, regulatory requirements, other business process, etc.) including development and delivery of documentation and training material
Serve as a conduit between business, IT, and external partners to collaborate on all JDE related requirements, process, documentation, and training
Participate in strategy discussions to understand and capture high level business needs and deliver detailed functional specification documents for signoff in preparation for development
Provide effective solutions to the HR & Payroll teams to address business scenarios, and guide them through the appropriate business processes related to setting up Employees, PDBAs, AAIs, budgeting, Payroll runs in the system
Qualification
Required
Understanding of business processes and their related IT requirements, specifically as they relate to the HRIS and Payroll systems
Ability to drive the definition, optimization and improvement of new and existing business processes via development of business and functional requirements
Experience managing process compliance as appropriate (e.g. internal controls, regulatory requirements, other business processes, etc.) including development and delivery of documentation and training material
Ability to serve as a conduit between business, IT, and external partners to collaborate on all JDE related requirements, process, documentation, and training
Participation in strategy discussions to understand and capture high level business needs and deliver detailed functional specification documents for signoff in preparation for development
Effective solutions to the HR & Payroll teams to address business scenarios, and guide them through the appropriate business processes related to setting up Employees, PDBAs, AAIs, budgeting, Payroll runs in the system
Wide-ranging experience using professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise
Determining methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)
Full understanding of systems architecture concepts and methodologies, application platforms and their application, and knowledge of infrastructure platforms and their application
Understanding of how a company manages projects and jobs while tracking costs and revenues, cost code structure associated with jobs and projects, analysis and reports to help manage projects and jobs, how to recognize and record profit or loss throughput a project or job
Experience in JD Edwards Modules: General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Procurement & Subcontract Management, Contract & Service Billing, and Service Work Orders
