Product Configuration Administrator II
Continental Aerospace Technologies™ is seeking a detail-oriented Product Configuration Administrator who will become the subject matter expert in PTC Windchill. The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of product data, ensuring data integrity, and driving process automation while adhering to FAA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Manage Configuration Items: Maintain the integrity of configuration items (parts, drawings, bills of material, product structures) within PTC Windchill PLM, ensuring revision control and accurate lifecycle states
Implement and audit BOM structures, part numbering, and revisions to maintain synchronization between Windchill and NetSuite ERP. Specifically responsible for inputting and verifying 'Effectivity' dates in the ERP system
Administer the Engineering Change process by auditing change requests, ensuring all documents have required approvals, and analyzing release packages for completeness before processing
Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual data entry and document retrieval, such as setting up automated drawing PDF downloads for buyers/supply chain
Actively participate in PTC Windchill training and conferences to build administration skills; apply this knowledge to improve system workflows, automate change approvals, and enhance user experience
Create and provide technical data packages for Supply Chain, Aftermarket Sales, and internal departments, while working to streamline these requests through system automation
Research and resolve inconsistencies in part information, acting as the primary liaison between Engineering data and Manufacturing execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Knowledge of MACOLA
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of Windchill
Knowledge of NetSuite
Knowledge of Word
Knowledge of Excel
Ability to communicate well with all levels of personnel, and work in a team environment
Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
Ability to work on their own initiative when necessary
