Valley Children's Healthcare is seeking a Polysomnographic Tech to perform a variety of sleep studies to diagnose sleep disorders as directed by a physician. The role involves scoring, recording, and documenting physiologic data associated with patients during sleep as part of a patient care team.

Responsibilities

Performing a variety of sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders, as directed by a physician

Functioning as a member of the patient care team scoring, recording and documenting data associated with the monitoring of physiologic data associated with patients during sleep

Qualification

BLS - Basic Life SupportCA Reg Polysomnographer TechRPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic TechnologistScoring sleep studiesBilingual Skills

Required

High School Diploma/G.E.D

BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position

CA Reg Polysomnographer Tech - RPT – Medical Board of California

Minimum two (2) years Experience in a health care environment

Knowledge of scoring sleep studies and providing diagnostic reports for physician review

Preferred

RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - BRPT - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within 24 months of hire or transfer into position

Ability to score studies
