Startup Strategy & Capital Architect
Zentrais is building a new economic layer for the internet focused on trust and long-term value creation. They are seeking a Startup Strategy & Capital Architect to design capital structures, executive incentives, and venture strategies while working closely with the CEO and founding team.

Responsibilities
Design pre-seed through Series A capitalization strategies
Model dilution scenarios and employee option pools
Structure milestone-based equity grants and advisory agreements
Work with startup counsel on enforceable contracts
Create long-term founder protection strategies
Prepare investor-ready capital frameworks
Architect novel executive roles and incentive structures
Define governance vs execution boundaries
Design advisory and catalytic positions
Ensure alignment between mission, incentives, and control
Build long-term financial narratives
Support fundraising strategy and sequencing
Stress-test valuation scenarios
Design scalable economic frameworks
Prepare internal decision memos and board materials
Shape how the company frames its economic model
Align compensation structures with brand philosophy
Translate abstract systems into credible venture language
Support positioning for investors, partners, and executives
Qualification
Required
experience as one or more of the following: early-stage CFO or finance lead, venture studio operator, startup strategist, VC platform or portfolio operator, founder-adjacent executive, corporate development leader, startup lawyer turned operator, venture architect or fractional executive
fluent in cap tables and SAFEs
comfortable with ambiguity
systems-level thinker
aligned with long-term value creation
allergic to hype
mission-driven but financially rigorous
able to operate at founder altitude
excellent at translating complexity into clarity
