Senior Field Service Technician

Medrun is seeking an experienced and reliable Field Technician to join their team. This hands-on role involves servicing laboratory equipment and ensuring optimal functionality at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Perform testing, calibration, maintenance, and repairs on lab equipment
Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Communicate equipment issues promptly and thoroughly to management
Schedule and conduct service appointments and follow-ups with customers
During downtime, create and improve new processes and calibration procedures or perform other admin tasks

Required

Strong understanding of electrical components and wiring diagrams
Ability to troubleshoot electrical failures (e.g., fans, motors, relays, sensors)
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician in the Medical Research Industry
Great interpersonal skills
Basic computer knowledge is required
Must be presentable
Knowledge in using hand tools and a multimeter
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with insurance
Clean criminal record (background checks required by clients)
Ability to pass drug screenings (random tests conducted by clients)
Excellent punctuality and reliability — self-scheduling required for some jobs

Preferred

Experience with manufacturers a plus
