The role involves designing, developing, and delivering large-scale distributed software systems while collaborating with product and business partners.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deliver large-scale distributed software systems
Own end-to-end delivery of major system components
Serve as technical lead on complex initiatives
Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures
Collaborate with product & business partners
Build high-performance, multi-threaded services
Maintain data access layers & databases
Produce clear technical documentation
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
Support production incidents & major launches
Qualification
Required
3+ years professional software development experience
2+ years system architecture & design experience
Strong Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA)
Experience with distributed systems
Hands-on AWS cloud services experience
CI/CD pipelines
Git version control
Database management (SQL, relational databases)
Agile/Scrum development experience
Frontend development exposure
Event-driven architecture experience
Data modeling
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)—Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK
DevOps / SRE practices
Strong problem-solving & collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred
Prior Amazon (FTE or Contract) experience—STRONGLY PREFERRED
