Compliance Officer- Ambulatory Services

The Compliance Officer will execute compliance operations for Ambulatory Offices, serving as the primary compliance contact and advising on compliance requirements within specific operations.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the execution of compliance operations for the assigned operational area
Support Ambulatory Offices for Lee Physician's Group with rotations in value-based operations, research, and joint ventures
Serve as the primary compliance contact for assigned support area
Integrated into the operations to serve as subject matter experts on compliance requirements
Advise operations on process design to ensure compliance with regulations
Monitor regulatory changes that could impact operational scope
Develop annual compliance education plans and training coordination
Conduct annual compliance risk assessments
Design and monitor compliance workplans
Coordinate compliance committee meetings
Provide assistance with policy and procedures reviews and development
Assist with the development and monitoring of compliance related corrective action plans
Coordinate the reporting and action plans for compliance requirements with assigned area
Lead compliance investigations and coordinate investigations with management and peer operations
Review sanction screening results and remediation with HR and management team
Qualification
Required
BS or BA degree from an accredited college required
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare compliance or healthcare operational experience is required
CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance), CHPC (Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance), Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance or certification in healthcare compliance required or must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment
Strong communication and relationship building are required skills to be successful
Preferred
Masters degree preferred
CHC (Certified Healthcare Compliance) is preferred
