Responsibilities
Perform design and engineering of conveyor systems for automotive customers
Perform engineering calculations for stress analysis, load capacity, system integrity, etc
Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs), work orders, and other documentation to support manufacturing and procurement
Check drawings, validate designs, and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications and standards
Provide technical support to manufacturing, installation and maintenance teams during the project lifecycle
Other general engineering tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering highly preferred (BSME)
5 plus years of experience
Strong experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor
Automotive experience needed
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Highly analytical and detail-oriented
Ability to identify and resolve technical issues related to conveyor design and functionality
