This is moderately independent work providing Visitor Services, Maintenance, and Customer Service at Grayton Beach State Park
VISITOR SERVICES - Explains facilities and services provided for public use, enjoyment and education; meets visitors, answer questions, provides information and directions in an accurate and professional manner
MAINTENANCE – Maintains cleanliness of rental cabins. Maintains cleanliness of grounds and facilities
OTHER – Performs Other Related Duties As Required
Qualification
Required
Good visitor service skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform a variety of functions
Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer skills to be able to complete a timesheet
Basic cleaning and safety knowledge
Good public relations skills
Skill in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Skill in providing high-level customer service
Skill in operating trucks, LSV and golf carts
Skill in interacting with all internal and external customers and the general public in a professional, tactful and courteous manner
Ability to utilize a computer including, but not limited to software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions/directions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to clean park facilities, including but not limited to, cleaning cabins and picking up trash
Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
Ability to perform physical labor
Ability to lift 40 pounds and assist in transporting items or other supplies
Ability to maintain a valid driver's license
Valid Driver's License
