Design of various automated equipment & material handling systems
Detailing & checking drawings
Developing machine layouts
Analyzing equipment designs & providing creative problem-solving solutions to manufacturing processes
Interact with both customers and peers
Assist in developing Concept Designs and Plant Layout drawings for RFQ proposals & Sales presentations
Multi-task and work under pressure to keep projects on track and within cost budgets
Meet scheduled completion deadlines and customer commitments
Qualification
Required
Proficient using 3D Modeling Software; SOLIDWORK & AUTOCAD
Skilled in Developing Conceptual ideas and making Engineering Presentations
5+ Years Experience in Designing Automated Equipment & Material Handling Systems
Knowledgeable in Industrial Manufacturing Processes & Developing 3D Simulations
Knowledgeable in “Electro-mechanical” components + Calculations (i.e., servo-drives, VFD, LVDT systems, etc.)
Knowledgeable in Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems + Calculations (i.e., cylinders, valves, switches, etc.)
Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Software i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Effective communication skills necessary to interact with both customers and peers
Strong abilities in analyzing equipment designs & providing creative problem-solving solutions to manufacturing processes
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to keep projects on track and within cost budgets
Ability to meet scheduled completion deadlines and customer commitments
Preferred
Knowledgeable in Applications using Robotics & Vision systems a (Plus+)
Familiarity with aspects of System Controls (i.e., PLCs, HMI Panels, switches, safety systems, etc.)
