Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of production workers, assigning tasks and providing necessary training to maintain efficiency
Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address performance issues
Conduct employee evaluations and identify opportunities for development
Develop and execute production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and production targets
Monitor production progress and make adjustments as needed to optimize workflow
Coordinate with other departments, such as materials management and quality control, to ensure smooth production flow
Enforce quality standards by conducting regular inspections and ensuring products meet specifications
Identify and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions when necessary
Collaborate with quality control teams to maintain product quality
Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the production area
Investigate and report safety incidents, taking necessary corrective actions
Conduct safety training sessions for employees
Monitor the condition of production machinery and equipment
Coordinate scheduled maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
Identify and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel
Track production metrics, such as output, scrap rates, and efficiency
Generate reports on production performance and identify areas for improvement
Analyze data to identify trends and implement necessary adjustments to optimize production processes
Qualification
Required
Direct marketing mailing experience preferred
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of manufacturing processes and production techniques
Knowledge of quality control procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
