Responsibilities
Communicates with CFS Commercial team and CFS Operations team to provide superior customer service to an assigned set of clients not to exceed 50% of average Client Service Associate
Provides information for clients (e.g. Pricing, Capabilities, Status, Sample Submission)
Submits and coordinates client requests for re-testing, additional testing, OOS investigations, and changes that are needed
Performs data entry into, NIMS, SFDC, CMS, and other databases, as appropriate
Coordinates conference calls with client and other areas of CFS as needed
Coordinates client visits as needed
Contributes to assigned process improvement projects and supports implementation when needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in a scientific, business or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
Demonstrated computer skills – requires excellent MS Office experience (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)
Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to work to many deadlines at one time
Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal and external clients
Positive attitude and sense of urgency
Thick skinned and able to take and give difficult news
Able to accept responsibility for company errors
Ability to learn new tasks
Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
Preferred
1+ years of related experience (Food Science or Customer Service)
Experience in a scientific or logistics environment is a plus
