Pipeline Integrity Engineering Manager
Judge Group, Inc. is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Engineering Manager who will be responsible for managing and inspiring a team to achieve performance metrics. The role involves strategizing, project management, and staff management, with a focus on pipeline integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities
Implement the IMP and supporting standards and procedures for CA and US pipelines and terminals
Complete the annual IMP performance report, distribute it, and present it as needed
Participate in IMP-related governmental audits
Provide regular reports to stakeholders on the status of the integrity program (KPIs) and key projects
Identify and prioritize integrity-related projects in support of the IMP
Provide engineering and project management support of IMP-related activities such as system in-line inspection, cathodic protection, inspection digs, and integrity-issue mitigation activities and general system improvements
Utilize established change-management procedures for change approval, prioritization, and execution
Oversee integrity management-related contracted services
Maintain currency on pipeline regulations, industry standards and best practices, integrity assessment methods, and pipeline repair methods by attending conferences, working groups, and seminars
Oversee the APG Integrity Engineers (IE) including team structure, workload management, professional development plans, and hiring
Collaborate with other company teams to identify improvement projects and support requiring IE support
Assign IE projects and ensure project progress is meeting requirements
Manage the Integrity Team budget
Review and disposition requests for spending and resource allocation for integrity-related projects and tasks
Mentor IEs concerning technical topics, regulatory issues, and problem solving
Qualification
Required
A strong, proven focus on workplace safety
Self-motivated and self-directed with a continuous improvement attitude
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Strong mechanical aptitude and sound understanding of mechanical system principles
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and technical requirements, and manage systems and processes to develop integrated, creative solutions to issues impacting system integrity, reliability, and / or compliance
Demonstrated PM abilities used to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated computer skills (e.g. spreadsheets, databases, presentations, instructions and procedural documents, process flow diagrams)
Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, NACE, CSA, PHMSA, CSA, and DOT standards and guidelines
Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university
Cathodic protection NACE CP1 certification (or attain certification within six months of hiring)
≥5 years' experience in pipeline and/ or facility design, construction, and operation
≥5 years' experience in pipeline integrity management and repair practices
Demonstrated knowledge and practice of ASME B31.4, CSA Z662, and applicable ASME standards for pipeline design, construction, operation, integrity management, and risk analysis
Clean driving record
US passport (or ability to acquire one)
