Responsibilities
Lead and produce security architecture deliverables for IAM, certificate services, and secrets management initiatives
Drive the IAM and secrets management architecture roadmap, sharing progress and strategy with AES and business stakeholders
Partner with IT and engineering teams to design and implement federated access, SSO, MFA, and identity solutions in cloud and hybrid environments
Participate in discovery workshops to understand customer, workforce IAM, and security requirements, providing best-practice recommendations
Design and deliver clear architectural diagrams illustrating proposed solutions, integrations, and security flows
Proactively identify security gaps, recommend solutions, and ensure implementation through engineering collaboration
Architect enterprise IAM solutions using Ping Identity products, PlainID, and similar technologies including:
Identity Governance & Administration (IGA)
Virtual Directory
Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Secrets Management
Build and standardize access management security patterns, including authentication/authorization flows, SSO, MFA, provisioning, user behavior analytics, access governance, and privileged access controls
Evaluate existing application security controls (on-prem and cloud), identify improvements, and integrate enhancements into the security capability roadmap
Develop and maintain IT security standards that are clear and consumable by technical and business stakeholders
Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives covering project planning, implementation, testing, go-live, risk management, and issue resolution
Mentor and guide junior security engineers and architects, strengthening cybersecurity and architecture competencies across the organization
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management
Extensive experience designing enterprise IAM solutions in cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments
Hands-on experience with Ping Identity, PlainID, or similar IAM platforms
Strong knowledge of federated identity, SSO, MFA, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and access governance
Experience with IGA, PAM, secrets management, and certificate services
Proven ability to define security standards, architecture patterns, and roadmaps
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to lead complex initiatives and influence across technical and non-technical teams
