Responsibilities
Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Oversee general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Manage AP, AR, billing, and cash receipts
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
Perform P&L analysis and variance reporting
Support medical claims accounting for assigned contracts
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
Supervise and review work of accounting staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience as an Accounting Manager or similar level role
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end close and AP / AR
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Experience managing or supervising accounting staff
Demonstrated job stability and solid tenure
