They are seeking a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for key accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis while collaborating with the Accounting and Finance teams.

Responsibilities
Handle multiple large bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
Prepare and enter journal entries with precision and attention to detail
Prepare daily bank reports for Senior Management, analyze variances, and ensure the financial data aligns with company goals
Post payments in the ERP system (MAS Sage 100) and review bank postings for AR and AP
Establish and maintain confidential company files and financial records
Take on diverse projects that will stretch your accounting skills and broaden your expertise
Qualification
Required
A degree in Accounting or Finance is required
2-3 years of related experience is preferred, though an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications is essential
Attention to Detail: You'll need a keen eye for accuracy and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Problem Solver: You'll be expected to research and resolve discrepancies with logical and practical solutions
Independent Worker: You should be able to work independently, manage your time effectively, and meet deadlines
Team Player: While you'll handle individual tasks, you'll also be an integral part of a larger team, so collaboration is key
Adaptability: Must thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment and handle multiple priorities with ease
