This includes evaluating new construction, alterations, and land use to ensure fair property valuation, updating appraisal data in Orion, and verifying sales information
The position requires participation in annual property reviews, hearings, and quality control processes to uphold valuation accuracy and compliance with policies
Regular interaction with the public, report writing, and data entry are key parts of the role
Additionally, must maintain confidentiality, adhere to county procedures, and pursue ongoing professional development

Required

High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of IAAO 101, USPAP (15 hr.), PVD Property Tax Law, PVD Orion Introduction, and PVD Residential/Agricultural Data Collection within 2 years in position
Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position
Completion of IAAO course I and Orion Residential/Agricultural courses completed successfully
Minimum 3 years of experience as Field Appraiser I – Personal Property / Residential / Agricultural
Maintain a valid Kansas driver's license
