Responsibilities
Support full-cycle recruiting activities including resume review, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
Assist with sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals, and internal systems
Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and external partners
Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Assist with onboarding documentation and new hire coordination
Support HR administrative tasks including personnel file maintenance and data tracking
Learn and apply federal contractor and compliance considerations relevant to HR and recruiting
Participate in recruiting strategy discussions and workforce planning support
Provide professional, timely communication to candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Must be a current active-duty U.S. service member within 365–180 days of separation or retirement
Must meet all eligibility requirements of the DoD SkillBridge program and obtain command approval prior to start date
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have prior military experience in Human Resources, personnel administration, recruiting, or talent management
Basic working knowledge of HR or recruiting processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Ability to work independently and as part of a professional HR team
Preferred
Military HR, personnel, or recruiting MOS/AFSC/Rate or equivalent billet experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience screening resumes or supporting hiring actions
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or HR databases
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a civilian career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
Actively pursuing or planning to pursue education in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Interest in, or coursework toward, professional HR certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent
