CDSA Assistant Director
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest agencies in the state, responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of North Carolinians. The CDSA Assistant Director oversees the North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing supervision to staff involved in service coordination for children with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
Ensuring that all aspects of the North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program are coordinated and integrated to ensure quality and compliance with Federal (Part C of IDEA) and State regulations
Providing supervision of professional staff members as related to the evaluation, treatment, and coordination of services for children with developmental disabilities and their families
Proposing and helping develop policies and procedures as they relate to client services and day-to-day operations
Monitoring quality and quantity of the agency’s evaluation, treatment and service coordination services
Responsible for agency development and training under the direct supervision of the CDSA Director
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution and three (3) years of program experience related to the area of assignment, including one year of supervisory program experience
an equivalent combination of training and experience
Preferred
Knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to client services and day-to-day operations
Working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers (children ages 0-3) with or at risk for developmental delays, disabilities or atypical development
