Responsibilities
Define and own the overall Cloud and DevOps architecture, standards, and best practices
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and enterprise applications
Architect scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates
Design and support containerized and microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes
Integrate DevSecOps practices, including automated security scans, compliance checks, and policy enforcement
Collaborate with application, platform, and security teams to enable seamless cloud adoption
Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability frameworks for cloud environments
Drive cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and capacity planning initiatives
Lead troubleshooting of complex production issues and define long-term preventive solutions
Mentor and guide DevOps and cloud engineers on architecture, tools, and best practices
Document architecture designs, standards, and operational procedures
Qualification
Required
12+ years of overall IT experience, with significant hands-on experience in Cloud and DevOps roles
Strong architectural experience on at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms, especially Docker and Kubernetes
Strong Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting experience (Bash, Python, or similar)
In-depth understanding of networking, security, identity and access management, and cloud architecture principles
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or cloud-native monitoring services
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecture experience
Experience implementing SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
Strong background in DevSecOps, compliance, and cloud security frameworks
Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps operating models
Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent
Experience leading or architecting large-scale cloud migration or modernization programs
