Internal Medicine/Transitional Year Faculty - Associate Program Director
Lee Health is a nonprofit organization recognized for its high-quality care in Southwest Florida. They are seeking an Internal Medicine/Transitional Year Faculty Physician to provide clinical patient care, mentor residents, and develop the resident evaluation system as the Associate Program Director.

Responsibilities
Teaching, supervising, and evaluating internal medicine residents using real time face to face feedback
Participate in remediation of residents
Participate in resident's Didactic conferences including M&M, EMB, journal club, daily morning report, noon conferences as a lecturer, etc
Qualification
Required
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Completion of an ACGME Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
Must meet all of the requirements for faculty members set forth in the Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal Medicine
Current Florida Medical License in Good Standing (or ability to obtain this prior to start date)
Board certified in Internal Medicine
Will be employed by Lee Health
Faculty physicians will dedicate an average of 15 hours per week to the program
BLS, ACLS required from the American Heart Association
Preferred
3 years of successful academic experience in graduate medical education preferred
