Responsibilities

Define and own the product vision and strategy for the Instrument Software across all of Agilent
Translate customer needs, market insights, and business priorities into a coherent, outcome-driven product roadmap
Ensure alignment between product strategy, enterprise software strategy, and execution plans
Own product roadmaps across platform, shared services, and core capabilities, balancing near-term delivery with long-term scalability
Drive prioritization decisions across competing demands, using clear value, risk, and dependency frameworks
Partner with Strategy and Engineering leaders to ensure roadmaps are feasible, sequenced, and well-resourced
Establish best-in-class product management practices across the full lifecycle - from discovery through launch and continuous improvement
Ensure strong product ownership from concept through adoption, including success metrics and customer outcomes
Drive tight collaboration between product managers and engineering teams to accelerate delivery and reduce rework
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, global product management organization
Standardize product management tools, templates, and operating rhythms across teams
Foster a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, and outcome-driven execution

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
7+ years of progressive leadership experience in product management for enterprise or platform software
Deep understanding of the laboratory instrument software ecosystem, such as Chromatography Data Systems (CDS), mass spectrometry software, imaging/cell analysis platforms, or other workflow-critical scientific software
Proven experience owning and scaling complex software products across on-prem, cloud, or hybrid environments
Strong track record partnering with engineering, architecture, and business leaders
