Logistics and Purchasing Assistant
W3Global is a company that supports procurement and logistics operations. The Logistics and Purchasing Assistant is responsible for assisting with purchase order processing, supplier coordination, shipment tracking, and inventory record management.

Responsibilities
Assist in creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders in accordance with company policies
Request, collect, and compare supplier quotations to support purchasing decisions
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
Monitor order status and proactively follow up on delayed, incomplete, or backordered items
Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, vendors, and internal teams
Track shipment schedules, delivery timelines, and receipt confirmations
Prepare and review shipping documentation, including packing lists, delivery notes, and invoices
Support inventory tracking and reconciliation activities within ERP or inventory systems
Liaise with warehouse, finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure alignment on purchasing and logistics activities
Assist in resolving basic supplier issues, delivery discrepancies, and documentation errors
Organize and maintain procurement and logistics files, both digital and physical
Generate routine reports related to purchasing activity, inventory levels, and delivery performance
Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Prior experience in logistics, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support preferred
Basic understanding of purchasing and logistics processes
Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems is highly desirable
