Responsibilities
Serve as a finance resource to budget owners and department leaders
Assist with compiling, organizing, and validating budget and forecast data
Perform variance analysis and support ongoing financial planning activities
Prepare standard monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Conduct general ledger account analysis and ensure alignment with accounting standards
Support internal and external financial reporting requirements
Develop basic pro formas and organize supporting financial data
Perform lookback analyses to evaluate financial performance and support decision-making
Support special projects including financial modeling, utilization analysis, and cost evaluations
Maintain organized documentation related to approvals, budgets, reporting, and assignments
Assist with analysis related to staffing, supplies, pharmaceuticals, and operational efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Strong quantitative and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively under supervision in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
1+ year of relevant finance, accounting, or analytical experience preferred
