Supervisory Program Application Specialist
The Phoenix VA HCS is seeking a dynamic Supervisory Program Applications Specialist to join our Health Administration team in the Southeast VA Health Care Clinic. The role involves coordinating ongoing data collection and analysis while utilizing knowledge of System Redesign principles to determine organizational performance.

Responsibilities
Provides administrative and technical supervision, typically at least four or five positions
Planning and scheduling ongoing production-oriented work on a quarterly and annual basis, or direct assignments of similar duration
Oversee the development of technical data, estimates, statistics, suggestions, and other information useful to higher level managers in determining which goals and objectives to emphasize
Designs and develops dissemination and training materials, local standard operation procedures (SOP) manuals, develops and utilizes monitoring tools, and provides for the implementation of Business Office programs through on-site education and training
Responsible for the coordination, planning, implementation, and training for service and facility staff in business and functional areas for various information technology VISTA packages
Develops initiatives which will enable the facility to provide quality health care to its population while operating in a more effective and efficient manner

Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement
For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization
