Responsibilities
Residential Support Specialists provide assistance, supervision, mentoring, and guidance to residents. Responsibilities include supporting individuals with:
Daily living skills (cooking, housekeeping, hygiene)
Health and wellness (personal medical care, healthy living)
Community participation (shopping, recreation, and activities)
Social and emotional development (coping skills, communication, friendships)
Budgeting and money management
Building independence, dignity, and autonomy
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years or older
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass State and Federal criminal background checks
Ability to pass drug screening
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and PPD
Willingness to complete all required orientation and pre-service training
