Responsibilities
Audits invoices; prepares vouchers and codes bills for payment
Manages the printing of accounts payable checks
Conducts data entry in accounting system; monitors and tracks revenues and expenditures; prepares journal entries; reconciles accounts
Assists with the preparation and submission of various reports and records
Establishes and maintains various records, reports and files
Reconciles general ledger account balances and prepares detail schedules for external auditors
Responds to and addresses customer inquiries
Provides technical assistance to county departments
Abides by, enforces and participates in the implementation and ongoing oversight of Randolph County Government safety standards and regulations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED with coursework in business, accounting, or related field
Three to five years experience working in a business, accounting office, or equivalent combination of education and experience
