Responsibilities

You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work
You will evaluate work performance of subordinates, give advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters
You will exercise significant responsibility in dealing with officials of other units and divisions advising management officials

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
This is a Mission Essential position
You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
Will be required to work on nuclear systems and participate in RADCON activities as deemed necessary to meet management needs
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience of trade operations to develop performance standards, short term, long term and continuing plans for Crane and Rigging Operations
Experience defining, planning, preparing, guiding and executing performance of the Crane and Rigging Operations Division in support of refit level maintenance and related activities
Experience with submarine systems/equipment and weight handling systems/equipment, to direct the repair, overhaul, and test of systems/components
Experience with managerial abilities in the areas of organization, direction, and coordination of activities concerned with scheduling and performing industrial/facility functions, cost control, quality assurance, workload smoothing techniques, productivity improvement, training programs for personnel and labor/management relations techniques, occupational safety and health, as related to the methods and procedures associated with Crane and Rigging Operations
