Responsibilities
Lead projects across overhead, underground, and system hardening initiatives
Perform pole loading calculations and conduct pole analysis
Update maps and create AutoCAD drawings
Survey existing facilities and deliver construction-ready design packages to field teams
Collaborate with internal teams to keep projects on track and ensure quality and accuracy
Meet with clients and construction crews to review designs and discuss project execution
Mentor team members and review designs to contribute to continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
3–5 years of experience in electrical distribution design
Experience with design review, client-facing support, and construction coordination
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP, O-Calc, and other utility design software (AUD preferred)
