Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor accounts payable staff, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reimbursements, ACH payments, and checks
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with payment policies and applicable regulations
Oversee documentation requirements including purchase orders, contracts, receiving reports, and payment approvals
Support month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts payable
Coordinate preparation of annual 1099 reporting
Monitor purchasing card activity and ensure proper documentation and reconciliation
Partner with accounting leadership to support audits and respond to audit requests
Monitor and support third-party accounts payable systems and workflows

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in AccountingSupervisory experienceAccounts payable processesCommunication skillsOrganization skillsLeadership skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field
3+ years of supervisory experience in accounts payable
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
