Responsibilities
Design and scope customer solutions (ag carbon programs, supply-shed analyses, Scope 3 emission-factor programs, SaaS-enabled offerings)
Take messy, fragmented prior efforts of our customers and rebuild them into coherent, implementable programs
Act as a billable SME (up to 20-30% time) on customer contracts (program design, documentation, workshops)
Serve as primary delivery owner and first call for customers; build strong, trust-based relationships while modeling authenticity, perseverance, excellence, and confident humility
Proactively assess customer pain points and program risks and tell customers what they actually need from HabiTerre, not just respond to requests
Design and troubleshoot data flows (FMIS, retailers, other data sources) to reduce farmer data and verification burden
Analyze and package results so they’re clear and actionable for downstream stakeholders
Lead a small Customer Solutions team; build SOPs, templates, and playbooks that make delivery repeatable and high quality
Collaborate with Science, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver high-impact, scalable programs that align with our mission of bridging rigor and scale for systems change in agriculture
Partner closely with the Business Development Lead, who owns the commercial account, to co-design solutions, ensure realistic commitments, present a unified front to customers, and seamlessly hand off between sales, contracting, and delivery
Qualification

Significant professional experience in food and agriculture and/or sustainability, including 3–5+ years specifically leading agricultural carbon project development and/or agricultural sustainability solutions

Familiarity with GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Standard and other relevant frameworks and standards
Working knowledge of field management data, data structures, and FMIS, with an emphasis on reducing farmer data and verification burden
Proven track record delivering complex customer programs or consulting projects
