Responsibilities
Collaborate with product owners, business leaders, and engineering teams to translate priorities into actionable plans and ensure timely delivery of commitments
Take end-to-end responsibility for technical deliverables, ensuring quality, reliability, and operational stability through proactive monitoring and issue resolution
Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving for complex technical challenges, drive root cause analysis, and implement durable solutions
Define and uphold architectural direction, establish software engineering foundations, and enforce best practices across design, development, testing, and deployment
Champion secure coding, risk identification, and mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards
Mentor engineers, promote technical excellence, and foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure transparency, effective knowledge sharing, and alignment on strategic and tactical objectives
Qualification
Required
15+ years of software engineering and architectural experience in complex enterprise environments
Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and modern integration and deployment patterns
Define and deliver a large enterprise-scale big data ecosystem; evaluate existing data architecture and work with the team members to continuously enhance and evolve the data technology stack
Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage priorities, and drive system stability and delivery outcomes
Strong understanding of risk management, security, and compliance within regulated industries (financial services preferred)
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills
JAVA with Spring and REST
Event Driven Architecture with Azure (Kubernetes) / AKS
Data Engineering – Data CI/CD Pipeline Tuning
Architectural Framework Experience Required
Preferred
Financial Services experience – preferred but not a hard and mandatory requirement
Azure or Snowflake Certification a big plus
Large Project Implementation experience in an enterprise environment would be preferred
Willingness to work on POCs or other hands-on implementation tasks
Understanding of the investment management business, multiple asset classes, client and regulatory reporting
Investment/financial technology systems within a large-scale Asset Management setting
