Responsibilities

Knowledge of routing protocols in a Cisco environment, mainly EIGRP

Layer 2 \ Layer 3 switching (IOS and NX-OS) configuration and troubleshooting experience

Cisco ASA and Firepower Firewall configuration and troubleshooting experience

Configure and manage IPSec VPN tunnels in a Cisco Firepower based environment

Management of remote users utilizing Cisco AnyConnect VPN Services

Experience with Cisco Wireless Lan Controller based wireless networks with Cisco ISE authentication

Verifies service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; identifying, correcting, or escalating problems

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Maintains customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns; answering questions

Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications
