This role involves coordinating activities, maintaining records, driving quality improvements, and providing technical support to customers.

Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day Graphic Studio staff production workflow and timelines, as well as the administrative duties
Coordinates activities by scheduling the daily workflow assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of Graphics Team, with the appropriate staff personnel
Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work
Plans and directs highly technical graphic arts prepress and production activities
Drive quality and continuous improvement for the team, and the overall graphics process
Consult with customers, providing technical support and education on metal decoration
Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques

Required

Minimum of an Associates or Technical training in Graphics Arts is required
Successful work history with minimum of 5 years' experience in the graphics/prepress field
In-depth understanding and experience in color separation and offset printing process
Superior skills with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and planning skills
Experience and skilled in color matching and proofing
Meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to develop and follow standard operating procedures
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask while meeting deadlines
Effective communication skills, administrative ability, and team building attributes
Must work effectively in a team environment, and be self-driven with ability to work independently
Limited domestic travel may be required

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts or a related field preferred
Knowledge of Esko packaging workflows and solutions is a plus
