Provide resident engineering support for a federal government customer for clients

Qualification

LogicMonitor Certified AssociateCloud platforms (AWS/Azure)LogicMonitor platform administrationMonitoring principlesServiceNow integrationLog analysis using LM LogsAutomationIntegrationUnderstanding complex systemsVersion controlInterpersonal skills

Required

LogicMonitor Certified Associate (LMCA)

3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure

5+ years supporting modern server operating systems (Linux/Windows)

Strong knowledge of application and system software monitoring principles and practices

Experience with LogicMonitor, specifically:

Proficiency in LM Envision

Experience with LogicModules

Alert tuning best practices

Using LogicMonitor REST API for automation and integration

Building and customizing dashboards

Log analysis using LM Logs

Group structure design for monitored resources

Experience with ServiceNow integration and automation workflows

Understanding of infrastructure monitoring principles and distributed environments

Ability to analyze and understand complex technical systems and web application architectures

Familiarity with software version control systems

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain credibility as a monitoring expert

Preferred

LogicMonitor Certified Professional (LMCP)

Administration experience with other monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Extrahop, Moogsoft, Broadcom APM, Spectrum Microfocus Operations Orchestration

Experience supporting federal government customers

Experience in resident engineer roles or embedded support teams

Experience with ITIL practices and service management frameworks
