Senior Sales Manager
Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to elevate the hotel’s presence across key markets through proactive sales efforts and strategic outreach. The role involves exceeding sales targets, cultivating client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the upscale hospitality sector.

Responsibilities
Consistently exceed individual and team sales targets, driving revenue growth across corporate, group, and social segments
Identify, solicit, and secure new and repeat business to maximize room revenue and market share
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key accounts, enhancing client loyalty and brand visibility
Leverage sales data to track performance, analyze trends, and proactively adjust strategies
Generate leads and conduct targeted outreach, including prospect calls, networking, and industry events
Deliver compelling presentations and familiarization trips to clients, showcasing the property’s unique offerings
Negotiate and execute contracts that ensure profitability and align with brand standards in a prompt, accurate, profitable, and professional manner
Travel strategically within the market and region to meet clients, conduct site visits, and attend trade shows
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience driving revenue in upscale hospitality and hotel sales, preferably in corporate, boutique, lifestyle, or full-service properties is preferred. Other sales experience may be considered
Proven track record of winning new business, closing deals, attentive account management, and exceeding sales target
Strong prospecting, negotiation, and nurturing client relationships skills with a focus on driving revenue and client loyalty
Self-motivated, data-driven, goal-oriented, and able to operate independently with excellent time management and organizational skills
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-energy, service-oriented environment
Proficient in sales systems (Delphi, Opera, Passkey, Meeting Broker) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to influence decision-makers and deliver compelling pitches
Passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and delivering personalized guest experiences
