Senior/Lead Backend Engineer is responsible for leading a team of offshore engineers (DEV and QA) and being available during most Onshore EST timings
Role includes becoming a bridge between the dev team and the onshore business team
Role includes hands-on development (programming) on all backend technologies
Good knowledge of Java, Spring and SpringBoot, MySQL and AWS architecture
Becoming the bridge between dev team and business team
Debug issues that arise during onshore time
Converting legacy applications into micro-services hosted in AWS
Leading the dev team by writing quality code, reviewing pull requests, and setting coding standards
Strong Database skills in MYSQL
Experience working in AWS architecture
MUST have skills: Java/MySQL, Spring, SpringBoot and AWS skills
Minimum of 6 years' experience in programming
Served as dev lead at least for a year
Preferred
Docker and Azure DevOps knowledge
