BSW Program Manager & Assistant/Associate Professor
Tuskegee University is seeking a BSW Program Manager & Assistant/Associate Professor to oversee the Bachelor of Social Work program. The role involves planning, organizing, and directing program operations, teaching courses, supervising faculty, and managing curriculum and assessments while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Responsibilities
Teach courses in social work as assigned
Serve as a subject matter expert in social work
Serve as the academic advisor to BSW students & promote a positive environment for students/faculty
Supervise faculty and manage curriculum and assessment for student learning outcomes
Engage in scholarly activities, research, grantsmanship, training & mentorship of faculty/students
Manage curriculum and assessments in collaboration with the chair and other faculty in the department
Attend to student recruitment and retention
Manage the program in consultation with department chair
Manage the quality of the program in accordance with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) & Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accreditation standards
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Preferred
Minimum MSW from a CSWE-accredited program is required
Doctorate in social work or closely related field and social work license at I-MSW, LCSW, LICSW is preferred
Five or more years of post-MSW social work practice experience in direct practice or administration
Two years of full-time higher education teaching experience or experience as a higher education social work consultant
Experience in strategic planning, leadership, budgeting, and management preferred
