Responsibilities
Develop virtual representations of complex systems that exist only on a napkin, have been operating for 100 years, and anywhere in between
Identify and reflect interconnections between components, subsystems, and systems through simulating the interfaces between them
Verify models and validate outputs against real world data or first principles
Analyze simulation results and communicate insights and recommendations through post-processing tools and detailed collateral development
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate modeling and simulation efforts into overall project designs
Define software or tool architectures in the context of various project and company needs
Be curious about emerging tools, techniques, and practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in modeling and simulation or adjacent role, with a focus on complex systems
Proficiency in Python or equivalent programming language
