Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership and oversight for all internal operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment across functions
Establish and maintain operational policies, procedures, and governance structures that support quality, compliance, and scalability
Lead the implementation of systems and workflows that enable effective project delivery, performance tracking, and financial accountability
Serve as the primary executive owner of internal operating rhythms, including planning cycles, performance reviews, and operational reporting
Oversee client services operations to ensure high-quality, timely, and consistent delivery across all engagements
Provide executive oversight of the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring standardized project management practices, milestone tracking, scope adherence, and risk mitigation
Partner with Principals and Project Directors to support effective project execution, staffing alignment, and client satisfaction
Ensure systems are in place to monitor hours, utilization, invoicing, and project financial performance
Partner with the CFO on project and overall financial performance against project, line of business, and company financial KPIs
Provide executive oversight of human resources operations, including talent planning, performance management, employee engagement, and retention
Partner with EHP leadership to develop and maintain job descriptions, compensation frameworks, performance evaluation processes, and career progression pathways
Foster a culture of accountability, psychological safety, continuous learning, and professional development
Support organizational change management and workforce scaling as the firm grows
Oversee the company organization structure and organizational chart and ensure it aligns to best practice for a consulting firm
Oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHP Academy, the firm-wide training and professional development programs
Ensure onboarding, role-based training, and leadership development initiatives align with organizational priorities and consulting best practices
Promote knowledge sharing, standardization, and skill development across service lines and consulting teams
Provide executive oversight of internal systems and tools (e.g., time tracking, project management, reporting platforms) to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making
Ensure technical operations support scalability, growth, accurate reporting, compliance, and performance monitoring
Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and process optimization
Oversee firm-wide resource planning, staffing models, and utilization strategies to balance workload, capacity, and financial performance
Partner with the CEO and CFO to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost management
Ensure operational decisions support financial sustainability and long-term growth objectives
Partner with the CEO, Head of Growth, PMO, and leadership team to operationalize business development strategy, ensuring alignment between growth priorities, delivery capacity, and organizational readiness
Collaborate with the Head of Growth to oversee the development and maintenance of end-to-end business development workflows, from opportunity identification through proposal development, contract execution, project launch, and delivery
Lead the identification and implementation of systems, tools, and data structures to visualize and track: Business development milestones, Pipeline health and conversion rates, Key performance indicators (KPIs), Workflow handoffs from sales to execution
Collaborate with the PMO to design dashboards and reporting that connect business pipeline data to resource and capacity planning, enabling leadership to anticipate staffing needs, utilization impacts, and delivery risk
Partner with the CEO, Head of Growth, and leadership team to ensure proposals, scopes of work, staffing models, and timelines are operationally feasible and financially sound prior to execution
Support continuous improvement of business development operations by identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks across the pipeline-to-delivery lifecycle
Enable data-informed decision-making related to which opportunities to pursue, when to scale, and how to sequence work to support sustainable growth
Serve as Subject Matter Expert as necessary for new business opportunities
Serve as a visible, approachable, and values-driven leader who models integrity, accountability, and collaboration
Support the CEO in reinforcing organizational culture, mission, and values across all levels of the firm
Represent the organization internally and externally, as delegated, in alignment with the firm’s strategic direction
Advance a culture of psychological safety, equity, and belonging by ensuring leaders and teams are able to speak candidly, challenge assumptions, and learn from failure; embed inclusive decision-making, equitable systems, and accountability for diversity, inclusion, belonging, and safety outcomes into the firm’s operating model
Operationalize psychological safety and DEIB principles across teams, policies, and leadership practices—ensuring equitable access to opportunity, transparent decision-making, and environments where diverse perspectives are actively sought, respected, and acted upon
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in business administration, public health, or related field required
Minimum of 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience, with demonstrated responsibility across multiple functional areas
Prior experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare delivery organizations, or mission-driven healthcare environments required
Proven ability to lead teams, scale operations, and implement systems that support organizational growth
Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to mission-driven work
Preferred
Completion of a formal, industry-relevant leadership development or executive training program is preferred
Formal training or certification in human resources management or workforce development is preferred (e.g., SHRM, or equivalent professional HR certification)
