Account Executive
Confidential company is a venture-backed marketplace that is rapidly scaling and redefining commerce and community. They are seeking an Inside Account Executive to own the entire sales cycle, from sourcing to onboarding and growing top-tier sellers on their platform.
Responsibilities
Prospect and source high-potential SMB sellers
Run discovery, pitch, and onboarding calls (video + phone)
Close new sellers and set them up for long-term success
Act as a strategic partner, coaching sellers on growth
Manage pipeline and consistently exceed targets
Use data to evaluate performance and drive improvement
Partner cross-functionally to improve seller outcomes
Qualification
Required
3+ years in a fast-paced, client-facing sales role
Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable owning outcomes
Proven closer with experience managing multiple accounts
Strong business judgment and data-driven mindset
CRM experience (Salesforce or similar)
Former athletes and individuals from competitive backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
Candidates must be within commuting distance of Los Angeles or New York City for in-person collaboration
Preferred
Experience at a high-growth startup, marketplace, or creator platform
Exposure to SMB, creator, or community-driven sales motions
Familiarity with Salesforce, Airtable, or similar tools
Passion for commerce, creators, or emerging product categories
Experience buying and selling in online marketplaces
