Contract Accounting Clerk – Automotive Industry (Florida)

New Grad, Entry LevelMedScope Group is seeking multiple accounting professionals to support centralized accounting offices and satellite locations across Florida. The roles involve various accounting functions including billing, daily transactions, and warranty processing, with long-term potential for candidates based on performance.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Bill all new and used vehicle, parts, and service deals
Post transactions into the accounting system and reconcile related schedules
Review deal paperwork for completeness and accuracy (pricing, signatures, VINs, etc.)
Post daily transactions, journal entries, and cash receipts
Reconcile assigned schedules and assist with month-end close
Support the accounting team with reports and general ledger tasks
Audit and post finalized deals into accounting after sales and F&I completion
Maintain and reconcile vehicle inventory and related schedules
Process and track titles and lien releases in accordance with state and company requirements
Process and submit warranty-related transactions and claims through service and OEM systems
Reconcile warranty receivables and follow up on unpaid or rejected items
Maintain accurate records and schedules related to warranty and products income
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and comfort working with numbers and documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Candidates must reside in Florida
Onsite positions at various Florida locations
All roles are temp-to-hire, with the opportunity to convert to direct employment based on performance and business needs
Preferred
Prior experience in automotive, dealership, or high-volume accounting preferred (not required for every role)
